App Control and On-Board Adjustments
When connected via USB, the free ShurePlus MOTIV app provides advanced control over your MV7. Select Auto Level Mode for consistent volume or switch to Manual Mode for full control over mic gain, mute, EQ, monitor mix, limiter and compressor. You can also save your favorite settings as presets to quickly recall for another recording. The built-in touch panel also allows you to make quick adjustments to mic gain, headphone volume, monitor mix and mute the mic without accessing the app.
Optimized Mic Positions and Tone
Whether you prefer to be close to the mic or further away, the MV7 provides optimized mic position presets for the ideal sound. Select “near” or “far” mode in the ShurePlus MOTIV app to optimize the mic for your position. You can also select your tone preference from “dark,” “natural,” or “bright” to shape your sound.
